I downloaded the software, but now I can't find it. Where is it?

Just go to Start >>Find >>File or Folders and type in partypokerSetup.exe in the 'Named:' box. Once you've found it, double-click the file and you're up and running. You can also create a shortcut for this file on your desktop.

Do I need to go to the partypoker website every time I want to play?
No. Just double-click on the partypoker icon on your desktop and it will automatically connect your PC to partypoker. Enter your account name and password and click on 'Log in' to start playing.
How do I fix any problems I'm having connecting to partypoker after an upgrade?
Sometimes your firewall will fail to recognise the upgraded version of partypoker, and will block access to the site. To correct this, just open your firewall and set it to allow access to the partypoker software.
What are the minimum system requirements needed to play?

What can I do if I am unable to download the set-up file from the website?
Please check if you have enough disk space on your computer to save the set-up file, and make sure you are connected to the internet. Also, make sure you have the necessary privileges to download files from the internet onto your computer. Log in to the administrator profile and then attempt to download the set-up file. Also make sure your internet connection is stable throughout the download process If the download process is interrupted for any reason, please delete the set-up file you have partially downloaded and then begin the download process again
I am unable to install the application, what should I do?
Make sure you have enough disk space on your computer to install the application. Ensure you have the necessary privileges to install applications on your computer. You need administrative privileges to install our software on your computer (log in as admin rather than as a guest user). Note that you can create a new profile with installation rights if you are logged in to the administrative profile on your computer.
What does the message Error “Not a valid Win32 application/Invalid Packet Size/Incorrect File” mean?
This error message can be caused by any of the following: The file as a whole is corrupt, or one or more of its contents are missing. If you used third-party software to shorten the file's download time, try downloading the file again without it. After downloading, and before beginning installation, make sure that the file size of the set-up file is correct. The file is not compatible with the operating system. See here to find out if partypoker is compatible with your operating system. If it is not compatible, you should upgrade your operating system. The file is not compatible with your hardware. If you get this error message during installation, it is possible that you do not have the latest drivers installed on your computer. Install the latest multimedia drivers on your computer.
How do I install a digital certificate?

Why can't I upgrade the software?
If the blue bar keeps running in loops, or if the upgrader simply stops downloading, then we suggest uninstalling and reinstalling our software.
How do I uninstall then reinstall?
Simply click on ‘Start’, then ‘All programs’, ‘partypoker’ and ‘Uninstall’. Then re-download the software from the website and reinstall it.
What if I am having first-time connection problems?
You may be unable to connect to our game servers despite being connected to the internet because of a firewall installed on your computer. This means the ports used by our software are blocked. Firewalls like Norton Internet Security, Zone Alarm, Windows XP, and McAfee Personal Firewall may block the application's access to the internet. We use TCP protocol and the ports 443, 2147 for communication. Please ask your network administrator or the person in charge of maintaining your firewall configuration to open up these ports for outgoing and incoming traffic, or to allow the application to access the internet.
What if I have connection problems after an upgrade?
Firewalls will sometimes fail to recognise upgraded party products, and block them. Open your firewall and ensure that party software is allowed access.
Configuring Partypoker To Work With Holdem Manager 3
Partypoker.com User Warning:
As of June 17th, 2019 Partypoker.com clients removed saving hand history files to your hard drive. In countries where the Partypoker.com client is used there is no HUD support. You can request emailed hand history files from Partypoker directly to do anonymous session reviews from the .com client and this is fully supported in HM3.Note: In countries where the PartyPoker.com client is NOT USED, HM3 will continue to import saved hand history files and the Holdem Manager 3 HUD is fully supported.
Configuring Partypoker To Work With Holdem Manager 3 (non .com clients only!)
Partypoker writes Hand Histories to your hard drive. Holdem Manager 3 must Auto Import hands to display a HUD (Heads-Up Display). Once we successfully Auto Import hands into Holdem Manager 3 we can setup Preferred Seating.Default Hand History Location: C:ProgramsPartyGamingPartyPokerHandHistory

Open the Partypoker Software
- Click the gear icon.
- Click Advanced.
- Make sure the 'Store hand history logs' is checked.
- Click Save Changes.

Preferred Seating allows your HUD to be displayed next to the correct player. If you have HUD alignment issues, setting up Preferred Seating

- Click Table Options.
- Make sure 'Use preferred seating' is checked
- Select how many players are seated at the table and check your preferred seating location.
